Mr. Radhey Sham Gupta, The Pioneer and Founder Chairman spared no efforts to place Neeta Prakashan in the enviable position it is in today. While speaking of the glories Neeta Prakashan enjoys today, it is but right that we also mention its humble beginnings. Neeta Prakashan was flagged off with a meager sum of Rs.250/- and a single title in Sanskrit-‘Sanskrit Saurabham’, penned by Ved Prakash Shastri, in a small rented stall at Regharpura in Karol Bagh, Delhi. In 1960, Neeta Prakashan moved to its own building at A-4, South Extension–1 New Delhi 49. Today we are a registered publishing house ,with our head office at the address mentioned above. A large number of our books are prescribed as text books in a number of states of India like Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland and Uttaranchal. Neeta Prakashan has two facets. While on one hand, we are engrossed in business ethics, on the other, we are equally involved in various charitable, and morally treasured tasks. Neeta Prakashan has set up charitable trusts, the Mouji Ram Smriti Nyas founded in 1978, a tribute to the late father of the founder, Mr. Radhey Sham Gupta, and the Aditya Prabha Trust. Activities of the Trusts:
Mouji Ram Smriti Nyas trust and the Aditya Prabha Trust are involved in the construction and maintenance of schools, colleges, libraries, hospitals, etc., providing financial support; granting scholarships to meritorious students; felicitating and presenting medals to outstanding students, besides promoting cultural, educational, religious and social development. They also take upon themtselves the task of offering aid to social workers, journalists, artists, writers and other luminaries to eulogies their activities. The handicapped, downtrodden, widows, orphans and those struck by natural calamities are also beneficiaries of our trusts.
